Heart of the Lost Crusader

The sword is the soul of the warrior. Swords of the crusades bore crosses is so they could function as relics to be prayed to. A good man's heart is his faith(be whatever his faith is in), and a sword is a manifestation of a crusader's faith. When the warrior fights for truth his spirit will always guide him. A serene heart guides the warrior through the battle and keeps his sword keen and true.

Overall length: 930mm (36.6")
Blade Length: 742mm (29.2")
Grip Length: 130mm (5.2")
Hilt O/All Length: 188mm (7.5")
Weight: 1280g (2lb 13oz)
POB: 100mm (4")
COP: 520mm (20.4") from guard.
Blade Thickness: Tapers from 6mm (0.23") at the ricasso down to 2.3mm (0.09") at 2.5cm from tip. Convex distal taper is 61%.
Blade width: 48mm (1.9") wide at flare, 35mm(1.4") wide at end of fuller, 23mm (0.9") wide at 100mm (4") back from tip.

The thick solid pommel, and the cross flares add mass near the grip, providing a point of balance at 4" it's deceptively blade light, and really lively.

Pommel is screw on so the hilt can easily be disassembled to reveal the FB mark on the massive tang, and also so the hilt parts can be maintained if needed.

(*Note: Microfracture in the guard Quillion on one side- occurred during forging)
