Fantasy Tactical Wakizashi
I have dubbed her a Wakizashi as the blade length is borderline between Tanto and Wak, but the blade profile is ALL Wak. It is a cutting blade rather than a stabber, crafted on typical katana design, with pronounced sori. Though you may consider it a Tanto too.
Though it is “Tactical” it’s designed for beauty as well as function. The grip is crafted from a beautifully figured section of curly Walnut. It is ergonomically contoured for blade control, and offers a thumb around or thumb over grip, as well as accommodating choices of thumb forward over the spine or finger forward to the cut-out; for precision work or power grip. It’s symmetrical too so it suits lefthanders equally as well.
The striker at the butt is predrilled so you may attach a safety lanyard, and is hardened and tempered to take anything you can slam it at.
