The Chivalry of the Knight Sir DeLavand 890 au$ Chivalry was a term derived from a knight's position at horseback as a means of battle, the french being Chevalier. The term later becoming synonymous with the virtues of Faith, Loyalty, Courage and Honour. A European Knight was sworn to protect the defenseless and fight for the greater good. Sir DeLavand was exemplary on all counts. Fighting his last battle at age 72, a military strategist and player of the Mellee, he saved the throne of his Queen and upheld peace throughout his service.
