This sword has been inspired by fire, the companion of swordmakers through time.
The guard has been wrought in forge fire. The steel pommel and guard have been fired to a beautiful golden flame hue. Tongues of fire lick at the ricasso of the blade, while a dull red glow emanates from the Ox-blood Red Leather of cord grip. The blade swells toward the tip like the flickering flame of a candle.

I love ring pommels with their exposed tangs. Though this sword can be disassembled easily, there is something special in being able to view the tang of a sword - a structural component which is paramount to it's function, and yet never normally seen in most swords.
