Sting

Forged in the first age of Middle Earth, an Elven Dagger was to find it's way to the hands of Hobbits. Salvaged by Bilbo Baggins from a Troll horde it made a handy shortsword, and was to become the bane of the family of Shelob. An acnient demon, in the form of a giant spider. The spiders of Mirkwood Forest and Shelob herself were to learn that a Hobbit's sting is a thing to be feared.

The blade is inscribed in Angerthas Cirth. In Sindarin it reads:
"IM AEN ESTAR STING : I AM CALLED STING"
"TI NOST OD SHELOB INNAS GOSTA ENNI : THE CLAN OF SHELOB SHALL FEAR ME"
